National Weather
A large high is keeping southern inland Australia dry and cool with southerly winds. A weak trough and low pressure areas are causing isolated showers and storms over northern WA, the NT, and the QLD Gulf Country. Strong westerly winds in TAS are maintaining showers in the west. The northern jet is injecting some moisture across northern Australia. The southern jet is arching a fair way north across southeastern Australia allowing cool, dry air to penetrate to inland parts.
